My name is Hollie Huston and this is my 7th year as the head volleyball coach here at Fossil Ridge High School. I have been a head volleyball coach for 20 years and an educator for 21 years. I graduated from Springtown High School in 1998 and played college volleyball and graduated from McMurry University in Abilene in the Spring of 2002.
I have a husband of 12 years named Christian and 2 precious boys, Hayden and Saeger, 10 years old and 8 years old. We have two Blue Lacies, Blu and Sally, and they are my sweet babies too. I love to spend time with my family, cook, hike, camp, listen to audio books (my husband says it doesn't count as reading:) run, landscape/garden, do outdoor things and see kids win. I love Jesus, my job, my home, my family, and the Panthers. My philosophy is about creating an environment where kids and coaches want to be the best they can be. Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you in the stands, cheering on our girls!
Hello! My name is Denise Willis and this is my fourth year on the Ridge volleyball coaching staff. Prior to 2018, I coached softball here at Ridge and volleyball at several other high schools. I grew up in rural southeast Nebraska playing multiple sports and riding horses. I have fond high school memories of winning state in 1995 and earning state runner-up in 1996. (So long ago!) I played volleyball and basketball at a community college then continued playing volleyball at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. I’ve been teaching high school English and coaching various sports in Iowa and Texas for 21 years. I have two daughters: Berkley is 10 and very much set in her ways. Boston is 5, carefree, and on the wild side…making our house quite interesting. 😉
My name is Brittany Harris and I am going into my 4th year teaching and 2nd year coaching at Fossil Ridge. I have been coaching volleyball for 6 years, and I also coach club at Fieldhouse Volleyball Club. I grew up in Flower Mound, where I graduated and played volleyball at Flower Mound High School. After high school, I received an academic & athletic scholarship to play volleyball for all 4 years at Friends University in Wichita, KS. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education/Teacher Education and my license to educate.
After graduating in 2018, I moved back to Texas and immediately began working in Keller ISD. I have taught Special Education and Credit Recovery/Drop Out Prevention while at Ridge. I am newly engaged to my other half, Gino, of 7 years, and we recently built our first home together. I am excited to be coaching the JV team again, and to start another year teaching at The Ridge!
My name is Dana Moore. This is my 4th year coaching freshman volleyball at Fossil Ridge High School. I have been coaching volleyball for the past 15. Much of my experience comes from coaching club. My husband and I owned a volleyball club where several of our team competed at Nationals. After retiring as owners, I decided to coach in high school. I grew up playing volleyball in San Antonio where we captured the state title in 1990 and placed 2nd in state in 1991. After high school I received a full scholarship to play volleyball for Texas A&M University as an outside hitter. I am excited to be a part of this wonderful program and help build our freshman for the future.
My name is Brad Harmon. I've been a math teacher and coach at FRHS for the last 7 years. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah playing every sport I could find, but focused on basketball in high school. I played basketball at Southern Virginia University, and have coached basketball and football since coming to FRHS in 2014. My wife, Jenna and I have 3 young daughters and 1 baby boy that also love to play every sport, but volleyball is what we love to play together! If you look closely, you'll see my family on the sidelines for almost every game.
